The Medical University of Lusatia - Carl Thiem is starting the new year with a comprehensive job package and is continuing to expand its team in Cottbus and the region. We are looking for specialists and junior staff in the fields of medicine, nursing, administration, IT, research and management - from working student positions to management positions.
In the medical field, the vacancies range from medical assistants (e.g. for general medicine, gynaecology, tumour therapy, ENT or orthopaedics) to nursing specialists, midwives and study nurses to operating theatre specialists and medical technologists for laboratory analysis. This is supplemented by positions in geriatrics as well as psychological specialists and teachers in training and further education.
At the same time, numerous scientific and administrative positions are being filled, such as research assistants in the areas of anatomy, medical informatics, corporate and organizational development as well as project and programme managers, including for new construction projects and the Startup Lausitz Accelerator. There are also positions in the areas of finance, accounting, corporate governance, compliance, IT security, system administration, IT project management and PMO.
Students have a wide range of entry opportunities as working students and student assistants, for example in the areas of controlling, finance, nursing, physiotherapy, social services and hospital social work. This allows students to gain practical experience in a maximum care university hospital with around 1,200 beds and a wide range of medical services.
