Are you looking for a way to make targeted contact with young academics in Brandenburg? In addition to the usual channels such as job portals and company contact fairs, we offer another way in cooperation with the Brandenburg universities with the digital format Matching Day.
"It's a Match!" is the motto of the big Matching Day of the University of Potsdam in the summer semester 2023. The event will take place for the 5th time. We offer regional employers the opportunity to meet students, graduates, doctoral candidates and postgraduates of our university from all departments and to present themselves at the University of Potsdam. then the Matching Day is the right place for you. Get to know the young talents of the University of Potsdam in 20-minute online interviews, win them over for your company/institution and increase your visibility in the region at the same time.
Registration deadline for companies is 28.02.2023
95 companies, over 600 students and alumni and more than 700 interviews - that is the balance of the 2nd virtual BTU Matching Day on 09.11.2022.
Is your company looking for academic specialists? As part of your job at a university or research institution, do you support your students in entering the job market?
We show the young academics at Brandenburg's universities and research institutions that Brandenburg has much more to offer than recreation and leisure at 3,000 lakes. Within the framework of sector-specific keynote speeches, we provide an overview of the diversity of sectors and companies in the state and highlight various career perspectives.
The Career Talks are limited to one and a half to two hours and are complemented by one or two company speakers, depending on the focus and group of participants. Interested companies are welcome to join us as practice partners at one of the upcoming events and present their company directly. Please contact us!

The Wirtschaftsförderung Land Brandenburg GmbH (WFBB) supports young academics in their career entry into the Brandenburg economy. Within the framework of organised company visits, they are given the opportunity to get to know companies in the state of Brandenburg that are interesting for their field of study, as well as different occupational fields and professional development opportunities in the region.
Together with regional partners, the WFBB offers students the opportunity to get to know the Brandenburg economy. On the one hand, the companies can present themselves to the Brandenburg students as future employers with their fields of work, departments and production facilities, and on the other hand, the prospective graduates are given the opportunity to find out about internships, dissertations and entry-level opportunities from the potential employers. In addition, the regions will be presented as a liveable place to work and live during the tours.
Due to the current health situation, these events are not currently offered.
