Job description

Electronics technicians for devices and systems are true all-arounders when it comes to technical equipment. Not only do they manufacture and install a wide variety of components and tiny parts, but they can also program and maintain systems. It’s a very diverse profession that challenges both the mind and the hands. Your work starts with the smallest parts: You build prototypes and equip circuit boards with the necessary components. This requires a great deal of dexterity, as it involves precise work with tweezers and special pliers. But assembling components and soldering are also part of your responsibilities. You install the necessary programs and configure networks. As an expert in both software and hardware, you can perfectly coordinate the two areas.

Qualifications / Requirements

Your Profile: High school diploma, (vocational) high school diploma.

Good grades and knowledge of computer science are a plus

Knowledge of physics is an advantage

Good grades in math

A strong interest and the right strengths for training as an electronics technician for devices and systems—above all, manual and technical skills are required, as well as a meticulous work ethic, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
