X2E Aerospace Technologies develops and manufactures embedded systems for aerospace applications. These are used, for example, in the fields of climate-neutral and efficient propulsion concepts, Urban Air Mobility (UAM), unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and data logging.
As a development partner, X2E Aerospace Technologies GmbH supports original equipment manufacturers and system suppliers in the aerospace industry with bespoke engineering and manufacturing services. Our engineering services cover the complete contract manufacturing of electronic assemblies, devices and systems. Our range of services extends from technical consultancy and hardware and software development through to prototyping and series production.
X2E Aerospace Technologies GmbH is based at ZLR Wildau – at the heart of the higher education and research landscape of the Berlin-Brandenburg metropolitan region.
Along the River Dahme, a thriving hub for high-tech manufacturing, smart services, research and education has taken root. Here, we are able to work and grow in a natural and relaxed environment, in close proximity to the metropolis of Berlin and the Wildau University of Applied Sciences.
Thanks to the University of Applied Sciences and its proximity to other renowned universities such as the Technical University of Berlin and the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, Wildau offers excellent opportunities for collaboration. Over 200 research institutions in Berlin-Brandenburg, including Fraunhofer, Max Planck and Leibniz Institutes, create an innovative environment for technological progress and economic growth.
X2E Aerospace Technologies GmbH, founded in 2019, is part of the X2E Group, which brings together the expertise of three pioneering sectors: aviation, the automotive industry and renewable energy.
X2E GmbH (founded in 2005) specialises in the development and production of high-performance data loggers for the automotive industry.
X2E System Engineering GmbH (founded in 2018) is a full-service provider specialising in energy optimisation and photovoltaics. Its service portfolio includes photovoltaic and solar systems, electromobility, energy storage and power-to-heat systems.
Across all its companies, the X2E Group, which is headquartered in Rohrbach in the Southern Palatinate, employs 180 staff (of whom around 20 work at X2E Aerospace Technologies GmbH). In addition to the sites in Rohrbach and Wildau, there is a further company site in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg.
