The company specialises in the development and manufacture of products for operating valves used in the municipal gas, water and wastewater sectors. With a high degree of vertical integration and its own R&D department, the company offers interesting areas of work for apprentices.
Apprenticeships are available as an industrial mechanic, a machining mechanic or a process mechanic specialising in plastics and rubber technology. From the second year of the apprenticeship onwards, the company offers the opportunity to work on R&D projects. Once the apprenticeship is complete, the company invests heavily in the further training of its staff.
In 2022, the company was awarded the Brandenburg Innovation Prize in the metals cluster. This example illustrates what employees with a keen sense of curiosity can achieve when working closely with end-users and the academic community – in this case, the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg – to develop innovative solutions. The management encourages employees to foster a spirit of inquiry within them.
An ‘Water Management’ innovation cluster is currently being established. The aim is to develop innovative products, technologies and services through collaboration between industry and academia, in order, for example, to minimise the impact of climate change on water resources.
