The Havelland Kliniken Group is the leading healthcare partner in the Havelland region and comprises seven organisations operating in the health and social care sectors. This group includes the hospitals in Nauen and Rathenow, doctors’ practices, outpatient care services, a nursing college, as well as facilities for elderly care and emergency services. The largest organisation within the group, Havelland Kliniken GmbH, operates specialist clinics in the fields of paediatrics and adolescent medicine, gynaecology, obstetrics, geriatrics, psychiatry, emergency medicine, traumatology, anaesthesia and intensive care, surgery, urology and internal medicine.

With around 2,500 staff and trainees, the group is the region’s largest employer and operates under the mottos ‘HavelLand of Opportunities’ and ‘Live, Learn and Work in the Havelland’. The group has grown steadily for several decades and has expanded its operations in the Havelland region. Since 2014, it has also been an academic teaching hospital affiliated with Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, making a significant contribution to the training of medical students. In 2018, the modern nursing school in Nauen was opened, further promoting training in the nursing profession.
