True to this motto, Grunske Metall-Recycling GmbH & Co. KG, based in Germendorf, operates in the Oranienburg area, the neighbouring districts and in Berlin, offering a wide range of services.
It all began in 1990 on a very small scale as a sole trader business run by Jutta and Klaus Grunske in Leegebruch. We have remained firmly rooted in the region – whilst our services for people and the environment have grown.
As a systemically important company and a specialist waste management firm, we see it as our duty to professionally recycle construction waste, garden waste, scrap metal and all types of commercial waste from private individuals and businesses. We also offer demolition services and the collection of almost all types of waste, with or without containers, and supply a wide range of products such as sand and gravel, as well as bark mulch and topsoil, to everyone. Naturally, with over 140 employees, we are also a major employer and training provider in the region, thereby fulfilling our social responsibility.
We are therefore well-positioned for the future and look forward to being a reliable partner for people and our environment in all waste management matters.

At Grunske Metall-Recycling GmbH & Co. KG, team spirit is what counts. Across our 10 sites, we work together to ensure safe waste management in the region and to protect our environment.
Our workforce includes drivers, metalworkers, engineers and support staff – as well as office administrators, of course. Here you’ll find talkative and quiet types, hard-working and particularly hard-working people, thinkers and doers, the young and the young at heart, lone wolves and team players, speakers and listeners – women and men. And we’re all one big family.
That is why we are also involved in many social projects for our region.
We train young people to become professional drivers and environmental technologists specialising in recycling and waste management. Our commitment has been recognised by the Employment Agency as ‘Outstanding Support for Young Talent’. And the Potsdam Chamber of Industry and Commerce has awarded us the title of ‘TOP Training Company’. We are all very proud of this.
The apprenticeship programme for environmental technologists is brand new. It’s a completely new, exciting and highly varied profession, whose graduates help to keep our environment clean.
