As the region undergoes structural change, Lusatia is redefining itself. This technological focus is creating many jobs in research, as well as in the development and production of sophisticated industrial products – both today and, above all, in the future. STEM skills (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) are the driving force behind innovation and development. To foster a sustained and keen interest in these subjects among children and young people, Wirtschaftsregion Lausitz GmbH, Wirtschaftsförderung Brandenburg GmbH (WFBB), Wirtschaftsinitiative Lausitz e. V. and the Cottbus Job Centre have created a portal that brings together a range of resources, making them easily accessible to young people, parents and educators.
The portal features numerous initiatives and resources designed to foster and develop an interest in STEM subjects among children and young people.
