There is a wide range of vocational training opportunities in the region. From family-run businesses to large companies, there are apprenticeship places available in over 150 different trades. That’s reason enough to undertake your apprenticeship in the East Brandenburg region.
The region is strengthened and supported by the two chambers of commerce. The Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Chamber of Skilled Trades rely on dual vocational training within companies to secure a supply of skilled workers. In this way, the next generation is trained in line with constantly changing requirements and optimally prepared for future tasks. The system perfectly combines theory and practice.

Compared with other regions in Germany, there are plenty of apprenticeship vacancies in East Brandenburg, and there is a wide range of career development opportunities on offer. Apprentices usually move straight into permanent employment upon completion of their training.
Schools in East Brandenburg highlight the benefits of dual vocational training at an early stage. And as no one can do this better than those with first-hand experience, young apprentices act as ambassadors to pupils across the region. Through the IHK project ‘Apprentices into the Classrooms!’, these ambassadors are prepared for their role in providing school pupils with advice on planning their future. The IHK East Brandenburg cooperates with around 70 schools.
For employees who are already firmly established in their careers and wish to develop further, there are many further training opportunities and tailored advice available in East Brandenburg. Here too, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce supports employers and employees by providing advice and assistance.
