The Cottbus Chamber of Crafts (HWK) provides help and support throughout all stages of vocational training in the skilled trades. A wide range of programmes and services assist young people in choosing the right trade, offer support in cases of hardship and help to nurture talented individuals. The HWK acts as a point of contact and supports young people both before and throughout their entire training period, right through to exam preparation.

School pupils can find support in choosing the right career or a place on a dual study programme. Apprentices can also contact their Chamber of Industry and Commerce if they encounter difficulties during their apprenticeship. Almost all member companies of the Chambers publish their apprenticeship vacancies on the IHK’s nationwide apprenticeship exchange.
